This bag was inspired by my interest in the traditional embroidery crafts of India, of which this bag is an example. "Patchwork Embroidery" is challenging work as it is made by piecing together layers of worn cloth with various intricate embroidery stitches. Pearls have been added to symbolize the lasting beauty created when we persevere through challenges.
